2019 August Volunteer Newsletter
In this issue:
Where did all the time go? Greetings Volunteers! Is anyone else still in shock that it’s August, or is that just me? It’s crazy to think that just a year ago I was starting my first job out of college here at Gilda’s Club Minnesota. And what a year it has been! Thank you all for trusting me to carry out our volunteer mission and strive to make this program the best it can be. I have had the opportunity to meet some of the most inspirational volunteers around. It has been so eye-opening to hear your stories and see your impact first-hand as I began my professional career.
As our organization continues to grow, we’re always looking for was to serve our volunteers better than ever before. If you have some thoughts to share with us, I invite you to participate in our Volunteer Survey. This will give us a sense of how we’re doing and what ways we can improve the volunteer program. Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated! Below, please find some of our top needs from volunteers. This list is just the start. If you want to learn about the many other current opportunities — such as program support, outreach and much more — or have ideas to share, please contact me at any time.
