Volunteer Opportunities

December 10, 2014

This is an exciting time at Gilda’s Club! Our program grows everyday and we need you to make it all happen! Lots of fun and exciting volunteer opportunities are available. Take a look at the list below and let us know how you want to help!

This is just the tip of the iceberg! If any the of the opportunities listed below interest you or you want to learn more about what we have going on, attend on upcoming Volunteer Orientation or contact Anne Josten at 952-767-7623.

Great opportunities for Individuals:
Gilda Greeter
Our amazing Gilda Greeters are often the first point of contact for visitors and callers to Gilda’s Club Twin Cities. They welcome people to the Clubhouse, answer questions and phone calls, provide clubhouse and office support and are a warm and welcoming presence for all visitors and members.

Office Support
We are always in need of general administrative support. Tasks include supporting our full-time staff by filing, organizing, helping with mailings and so much more. If you live for labelers, we’re looking for you!

Handy Person
Assisting with basic maintenance and improvements around the clubhouse both inside and outside. If you have construction, electrical, plumbing or HVAC experience and are willing to help out as problems arise, we need you!

Special Events
Help the Gilda’s Club staff in planning and/or executing special events including the Imagine a Place Breakfast, the Roseanne Roseannadanna Golf Benefit, open houses, 3rd party events and other fundraising and community events.

  • We currently need Table Hosts for the Imagine a Place Breakfast (learn more here) and volunteers to join the planning committee for this summer’s Roseanne Roseannadanna Golf Benefit.

Great opportunities for Groups:
Special Events
Help with set-up, greeting, guest registration, and a wide variety of other activities at our major fundraising events. We are currently seeking groups interested in helping at our Imagine a Place Breakfast on Thursday, May 7 in Bloomington.

Clubhouse Clean-Up
From spring cleaning and window washing to summer spruce-up and garden weeding, we can always use some extra hands keeping our clubhouse looking its very best.

Thank you so much for being the best volunteers in the world!
