About Gilda Radner and Gilda’s Club
Gilda Radner, a comedienne best known for her years on Saturday Night Live, died from cancer in 1989. In 1991, her family and friends created the first Gilda’s Club in New York City to honor her wish that no one face cancer alone. The “Clubhouse” is now part of Gilda’s legacy, a warm and welcoming place where men, women, adults, teens, and children share their hopes, fears, wisdom, and information—learning together how to live with cancer

Imagine a place to go when your life is touched by cancer. When Gilda’s Club Twin Cities opens it will be that place.
Currently there is no single place in the Twin Cities where all people touched by cancer can go for social, emotional and psychological support. Over 23,000 Minnesotans are diagnosed with cancer each year, and the impact of cancer increases exponentially when the circle of family, friends and caregivers is included.
Behind our red doors Gilda’s Club Twin Cities will be a welcoming a place to go for support. Gilda’s Club will be at no cost to its members and their families and friends. Our innovative support program and resources will be for all ages, addressing all types of cancer at all stages.
Help to fulfill Gilda Radner’s wish that no one faces cancer alone.
