Golf Benefit 2009 Volunteer Opportunities

Great Opportunities are Available for Volunteers at the Golf Benefit:
Planning for the Second Annual Roseanne Roseannadanna Golf Benefit is well underway, and the committee is thrilled to see how it is shaping up! In order to make this event a success, and raise critical funds, we need an army of volunteers for various positions. There are opportunities throughout the day of the event, but also there are many opportunities for volunteers to help with various tasks leading up to the event.

Silent Auction: We are looking for silent auction leadership. We are in need of an enthusiastic leader or two to take over this important and exciting piece of our benefit. If you have auction organization experience we’d love to talk to you.

Here is the list of the event sub-committees. When volunteering, let us know which committee you’re interested in helping. Stacy Allen, our lead volunteer coordinator, will connect you with that sub-committee chair.

Day-of Logistics

A few specific opportunities that have been identified to date are:

Attending our "addressing invitations" party
Handling response cards as they arrive
Stuffing goodie bags
Runners to collect silent auction materials from businesses and individuals
Final preparation tasks the weekend before the event
Sorting silent auction items and setting up
Runners the day of the event
Additional day-of event positions yet to be finalized such as registration table, hole volunteer, table decorations, evening entertainment set-up, etc.
